Tehran (IP) -Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalbiaf in a phone call with the head of Hamas' political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh said moves of some countries to normalize relations with the occupying regime are a strategic mistake.

Iran Press/Iran news: The head of Hamas' political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, in a telephone call with Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalbiaf said: "The Palestinian people and the Hamas movement will continue their resistance until the Zionists leave the occupied territories."

Criticizing the silence of some countries regarding the occupation of the Zionist regime he added: "We condemn the silence of some countries in the region that seek to normalize their relations with the Zionist enemy."

"We hope that with the support of Iran, we will be able to prevent conspiracies, including the so-called the Deal of the Century and the annexation of part of the West Bank to the occupied territories," Haniyeh continued.

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of Iran's Parliament, also said: "The passage of time has proved that the Zionists only understand the language of resistance and compromise will not go anywhere."

He added, "We believe that the Palestinian struggle prevents the realization of the Deal of the Century and the recent efforts of the Zionists to annex part of the West Bank to the occupied territories."

"The moves of some countries to normalize relations with the occupying regime are a strategic mistake," Ghalibaf concluded.
