Iran's Ambassador to Baghdad held a meeting with the Iraqi Minister of Industry and Minerals, Manhal Aziz Al-Khabbaz stressing the expansion of industrial ties as well as bilateral economic cooperation.

Stressing boosting the industrial ties in Automobile sectors as well as installing and running of the mutual industrial estate together with other industrial and mining fields, the two sides exchanged ideas on holding joint commission and the solutions for further developments as well as strengthening Iran-Iraq cooperation.

The expansion of industrial and economic relations between Iran and Iraq to increase per capita non-oil revenues and reducing dependence on oil revenues, given the global decline in oil prices, is one of the serious plans of the two countries.
