Iran Press/Iran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press over the launch of the insulin production line on Sunday, Kianoush Jahanpour expressed hope that many countries will purchase Iranian-made pen insulin with high quality and appropriate price.
As the medicine in which the most currency was allocated to it for import, and with regard to the constant need for diabetes, Insulins are strategic and highly applicable products, he highlighted.
He stated due to easy dispensing and its further common use, producing Iranian Insulin Glargine pen is on the agenda of the Health Ministry and Food and Medicine Administration.
Jahanpour expressed hope to inaugurate the second line of insulin Pen soon in the country.
With the completion of the insulin production cycle and an increase in the number of companies demanding production of the medical substance, Iran will export its insulin to the world, he noted.
He made the remarks on the sideline of launching the production line of Insulin Glargine pen by Pooyesh Drug Products Company with the presence of the Iranian Health Minister Saeed Namaki and Vice President for Science and Technology Sorena Sattari.
