Kermanshah (IP) - Following the outbreak of the coronavirus in Kermanshah, western Iran, the city is currently on high alert, with statistics showing an upward trend.

Iran PressIran News: Health officials in Kermanshah have imposed travel restrictions on the city to prevent further outbreak of the coronavirus.

According to the health officials in Kermanshah, travel to the tourist attractions of Hawraman, any gatherings, presence in touristic places, historical sites, and parks are prohibited.

So far, 5,517 people in Kermanshah have been infected with the coronavirus, about 140 of whom have died.

According to the Ministry of Health, the coronavirus situation is critical in Khuzestan Province, and the provinces of Kermanshah, Kurdistan, Kerman, Hormozgan, Bushehr, and East and West Azerbaijan are on alert.
