Tehran (IP) - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman called on French authorities to end interference in Iran's internal affairs.

Iran Press/Iran news: In response to the interfering acts of the French authorities over the case of an Iranian-French national Fariba Adelkhaho, Seyyed Abbas Mousavi said on Friday that the case of the Iranian national has involved in an independent and judicial process.

"Adelkhah has been convicted regarding the crime she committed and is serving her sentence," Mousavi added.

French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian on Friday called for Adelkhah's immediate release.

The French official said that the forthcoming situation could only have a negative impact on bilateral relations between Iran and France.
