Speaker of Russian Duma calls for cooperation with new Iranian parliament

In a message to the new Speaker of Iranian Parliament Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, the Speaker of the Russian Duma, while referring to the cooperation of the Russian Duma with the former Iranian Parliament, called for continued cooperation with the new parliament.

Iran PressEurope: Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin in his message of congratulation to Qalibaf said that representatives of the State Duma of the Russian Federal Parliament would like to continue active cooperation with Iranian lawmakers to expand cooperation between the two countries and strengthen regional security and counter contemporary challenges and threats.

On Thursday, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf became the Speaker of the Iranian parliament with 230 votes out of a total of 267 votes.
