Israel is biggest violator of UNSC resolution: Cultural Attaché

The Cultural Attaché of Iran's Embassy in Russia said that the Zionist regime which is the biggest violator of UN's decisions and the Security Council resolutions has destroyed the peace of "Al-Quds" where all religions have had peaceful coexistence throughout history.

Iran PressEurope: "Today, we are talking about one of the most complex global issues that have become a crisis in the world in at least 72 years, for which no suitable solution has been found," Qehreman Soleimani said on Thursday at a video conference on "International Quds Day".

He stated, "Since 1948, at least two resolutions have been issued annually in the UN General Assembly and in the Security Council against the corrupt Zionist regime, but with the absolute support of some countries for this regime, the Palestinian issue remains unresolved."

The Cultural Attaché of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Russian Federation made the remark, "The issue of Palestine is the issue of the international community. It may be more sensitive among Islamic and Arab countries, but this in no way diminishes the responsibility of the international community to resolve it."

Soleimani added: "The conscience of the international community has always been upset about the Palestinian issue, for which it has not been able to find a solution."

"International Quds Day, reminds the international community that we are all responsible for the fate of the Palestinian people, and holding this conference is also a sign that we all feel pain and sadness over the Palestinian issue," Soleimani said.

International Quds Day, is an annual event held on the last Friday of Ramadan that was initiated by Founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ayatollah Khomeini to express support for the Palestinians and oppose the Zionist regime of Israel."

This year's International Quds Day is on May 22, 2020.
