Qom (IP) - Representative of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement in Tehran said that the United States and the Zionist regime want to use the so-called 'Deal of the Century' to annex other parts of Palestine.

Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking at the al-Quds al-Sharif International Congress on Tuesday, Naser Abu Sharif said: "The United States and the Zionist regime want to use the so-called 'Deal of the Century' to annex other parts of Palestine and the surrounding countries to Israel; both the Western countries and Israel aim to divide the Islamic Ummah and undermine Islamic unity."

He added: "Believers in Christian, and Zionism also believe that Palestine should not be in the hands of Muslims, which is why Christians are more supportive of the Zionist regime than the Jews themselves and are trying to build the Temple of Solomon in Israel."

The representative of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement in Tehran further criticized some Arabs and Muslims whoever joins Israel, saying: "Whoever does so is a part of them and is no longer one of us."

Abu Sharif concluded that the Zionist regime and the United States consider all countries in the region as their servants and that is why they do not mind the economic, social, or cultural importance of the countries that cooperate with them.

The second day of al-Quds al-Sharif International Congress was held on Tuesday in Qom city, south to Tehran.

The Congress, in which cultural, political and scientific figures from different countries of the world give a speech via video conferencing, is underway on May 18-19, on the occasion of the International Quds Day.
