Iranian 86-year-old woman conquers coronavirus

Khorramabad (IP) - A 86-year-old Iranian woman recovered from the coronavirus and was discharged from hospital on Sunday, according to the Head of Martyr Valian Hospital in Aligudarz city, Lorestan Province, Iran.

Iran PressIran News: "Somayeh Arianjoo, who is an 86-year-old grandmother, was admitted to the hospital after testing positive for COVID-19. Her treatment started at the hospital and she was discharged on Sunday," Hamzeh Toolabi, the Head of Martyr Valian Hospital, said. 

He added: "So far, we have had some elderly people in Aligudarz who have recovered from the coronavirus." 

When leaving Valian Hospital in Aligudarz, Somayeh Arianjoo thanked and prayed for the medical staff of the hospital.

Head of Iran's Health Ministry's Public Relations Office Kianoush Jahanpour said on Sunday that 6,640 people have died due to the virus and from 107,603 infected patients in the country, 86,143 people have recovered and discharged from hospitals so far.
