Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Kazakh counterpart Mukhtar Tleuberdi

Tehran (IP) - Iranian Foreign Minister had a phone conversation with his Kazakh counterpart, discussing the ways to collaborate in combating the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Iran PressIran News: During the phone conversation on Wednesday, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Kazakh counterpart Mukhtar Tleuberdi reviewed the ways to collaborate in the fight against the virus as well the issues of mutual interest. 

The novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), was detected late last year in Wuhan, the largest city in Hubei province in central China.  

Today, almost all countries around the world are fighting COVID-19. 

The virus has affected more than 1.5 million people worldwide, with at least 87,000 deaths, but more than 319,000 people have recovered from COVID-19.
