Iranian Defense Ministry commissioned to manufacture disinfectants

Tehran (IP): Iran's Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami ordered Iran's Ministry of Defense to launch a production line for disinfectant liquids as soon as possible.

Iran Press/Iran news: According to  Brigadier General Amir Hatami, the production line was about to launch on Tuesday 25 February. It is expected that the production line can produce some 20,000 tons of disinfectant daily. The measure is aimed at fighting against Coronavirus.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani also issued a new order on Sunday, ordering the Iranian Minister of Health and Medical Education to use all the powers of the relevant agencies to prevent the spread and to eradicate Corona disease as quickly as possible in the form of constant reports.

According to the Iranian Ministry of Health and Medical Education, the death toll from coronavirus in Iran has reached 15, and 95 people have been confirmed to coronavirus positive in Iran.

The virus has now spread to more than 30 other regions in the world, including Iran, the US, Britain, Australia, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, Canada, France, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

According to the World Health Organization, the epidemic has peaked at its epicenter in China, where it has killed more than 2,600 people and infected over 77,000 others.

But the situation has worsened elsewhere with nearly 2,700 other cases and more than 40 deaths globally. 104/219
