Tehran (IP) - The former speaker of the Iranian parliament and Principlist politician, Gholam Ali Haddad Adel has emphasized that people's presence at the ballot box proves the popularity of the Islamic Republic and the popular nature of the Islamic establishment.

Iran PressIran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Friday, the former speaker of the Iranian parliament and Principlist politician stressed that the Iranian people backed the Islamic Republic right from the very beginning and today they are also backing the Islamic Republic, and the people are showing their determination to administer their own country.

Commenting further Haddad Adel said: "Presence of the Iranian people at the ballot box is a big no to the United States and a definite yes for continuing the path of the martyred Iranian General Qassem Soleimani.

"People's participation in the elections means rejection of the United States and a big yes to General Soleimani," he added.
