Iran Press/Iran news: This center is supposed to control the digital electoral procedures during the parliamentary elections on Friday 21 February.
The Iranian Interior Minister Rahmani Fazli stated, "Tomorrow, all information of the polling stations will be available in the election headquarters, and if there would be any problem in any constituency, all necessary instructions will be issued."
The 11th round of parliamentary elections and the first midterm Assembly of Experts' elections to be held tomorrow on February 21.
Jamal Orf, the deputy Interior Minister and the head of the country’s election headquarters, said on Monday that a total of 57,918,000 Iranians is eligible to participate in the parliamentary elections on Friday. A little more than 29 million voters are men and 28,800,000 are women,” Orf stated.
The election will be held in about 2,000 polling stations in 4 constituencies.
He further said 2,900,000 of this figure are potential first-time voters.
The eligible age in Iran to vote has been 18 since January 2007.
The Candidates for the 11th round of parliamentary elections and the first midterm Assembly of Experts' elections ended the campaign, at 8 am on February 20, twenty-four hours before the election. The campaign had begun on February 13.
