President Rouhani expresses condolence over Turkish earthquake

Tehran (IP) - Iran's President expressed condolence over the death of a number of people in Turkey's earthquake.

Iran Press/Iran news: In a message of condolence to his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Saturday, Hassan Rouhani sympathized with the victims' families and those injured in the disaster.

Rouhani expressed the full preparation of Iran to send aid to the quake-hit areas of the neighbor country Turkey.

The Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani also conveyed his message of condolence to his Turkish counterpart Mustafa ?entop over the incident.

The earthquake has already left 29 people dead and 1,466 others injured.

The 6.7- magnitude earthquake struck near the town of Sivrice, in eastern Elazig province, leading to the collapse of at least 10 buildings.
