Tehran (IP) - Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi answered Iran Press correspondent question about the Ukrainian passenger plane crash, saying that Iran is ready for any cooperation regarding the Ukrainian plane crash.

Iran PressIran News: Seyyed Abbas Mousavi said that the action was taken by the Islamic Republic to declare 'the Ukrainian passenger plane was targeted unintentionally due to human error' was an important action.

"Obviously, after this declaration, some responsibilities are borne by the Islamic Republic, which is pursuing both within the country and with the concerned countries," he added.

Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman further explained that the main actions were human actions that mattered in the first place.

"Since the beginning of the crisis, we have announced that we are ready to cooperate with concerned countries and have issued visas to foreign officials. We issued visas to the technical and research teams of the countries that had citizens on the plane. Talks are also underway between the Islamic Republic and Ukraine and today's visit of Iran's Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mohammad Eslami to Ukraine is in this respect."

Seyyed Abbas Mousavi also mentioned that the Islamic Republic of Iran considers the passengers of the plane as its nationals, saying: "We are the main mourners because we do not accept the dualities in our law and most of the passengers were Iranian nationals, while we are also mourning foreign nationals who lost their lives in this tragic accident."

He made the remarks by saying that the rest of the countries should avoid politicizing the issue because they will not get anything.
