Tehran (IP) - Speaking in sermons of Friday Prayers in Tehran, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said that the day the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps missiles hit the US base in Iraq was a Yaomullah (Day of God) emanating God's power in the event.

Iran PressIran News: "The two weeks that passed were full of adventure. During these two weeks, bitter and sweet adventures and learning events occurred for the Iranian nation," the Leader noted.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei pointed to the assassination of Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani, the commander of the Quds Forces of IRGC, and his funeral procession by millions of Iranians and said: "They formed the largest convoy in the world, one of the Day of Allah."

The Leader noted that the Iranian community is a society of patience and thankfulness. "Our nation is a nation of pride and gratitude. For many years, the Iranian nation has always been grateful for divine guidance, and as the Holy Quran says, gratefulness leads to victory," Ayatollah Khamenei added.

"After 41 years since the victory of the Islamic revolution, what power brought this unique population to the street, and who created this tear, love, and passion? What factor could have shown such a miracle except for the hand of Divine Power," the Leader of the Islamic Revolution made the remark.

The Leader stated: "Someone who is not able to see the power of God in these events and makes true analyzes is left behind. It is God's will for the victory of this nation." 207/219
