Iran Press/ Asia: Fuad Oktay made the remarks on Wednesday evening in an interview with Anadolu news agency that as Turkey's parliament will vote Thursday on a draft law on the deployment of its troops in Libya.
Turkey's parliament approved the security and maritime agreement with the Libyan National Unity Government on December 21.
According to the agreement, at the request of the Libyan government, Turkey will send troops and military equipment to the country.
On 4 April 2018, Haftar launched a military campaign to occupy Tripoli and oust the Libyan government. Haftar’s attack coincided with UN plans to hold a national dialogue conference in Libya, which was undermined by Haftar’s campaign.
Libya has been engaged in civil war since 2011, when former dictator, Muammar Gaddafi was overthrown.
