Tehran (IP) - Unveiling ceremony of the Paracycling System that could assist paraplegics and others suffered by spinal cord injuries, held at Tehran University of Science and Technology with attendance of Vice President for Science and Technology.

Iran PressIran news: Visiting Iran Neural Technology Center (INTC) which is located on the campus of Iran University of Science and Technology in Tehran, Vice President for Science and Technology Sorena Sattari said that Knowledge-based companies produce the technology to help disabled people's problems.

On the sideline of the unveiling ceremony of "Paracycling System" which assists paraplegics and others suffered from spinal cord injuries, one of the scientists in the design and technology team in an exclusive interview with Iran Press News Agency said: "Paracycling is one of the new projects to facilitate movement for people who suffer from paralysis or paraplegia. We have been working on this system during the recent 10 years which is designed completely by Iranian scientists and students."

"Although we are under sanction situation, we went on in this project in order to develop and improve the system to help paraplegics," he noted.

Neuroscience and several subjects in this issue are projects which have developed a lot in Iran in recent despite sanctions. 205/219
