IranAir, also known as Homa, added three secondhand Airbus A319 passenger jets to its fleet on Sunday, marking the 57th anniversary of the establishment of Iran's national carrier.

Iran Press/Iran News: According to IranAir officials, the measure is part of plans to increase the capacity of flights to meet the high seasonal demand for air travel during the upcoming Iranian New Year holidays (which starts on 20 March).

All three passenger jets were manufactured in 2002.
