The Presidential Office rejected rumours about the resignation of Iran's Foreign Minister.

Iran Press/Iran news: Alireza Moezzi, the deputy head of the Iranian president’s office for communications said on Wednesday that any news reports circulating about the resignation of Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif are totally false, and Zarif has just attended a cabinet meeting on Wednesday morning.

Alireza Moezzi tweeted: "Many journalists have written about progress in regional negotiations, and also the arrival of various diplomatic delegations to Tehran, but others are hyping a rumor about Zarif's resignation which is totally untrue. Zarif just attended a cabinet meeting on Wednesday morning," Iran Press reported.

Speaking to reporters on the sideline of today’s cabinet session, Zarif said: “I wouldn’t have been here now if I had resigned.”
