Iran ambassador and permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna, Kazem Gharibabadi

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has confirmed that Iran's heavy water stockpile has reached 5.131 tons.

Iran PressIran news: Iran's ambassador and permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna, Kazem Gharibabadi, went on to say that as Iran has informed the International Atomic Energy Agency on Saturday, the IAEA inspectors visited Arak heavy water facilities and verified that Iran's heavy water stockpile has reached 5.131 tons.

Earlier on 7 November 2019 the Iranian ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) had stressed that Iran never compromises its national security and the safety of its nuclear facilities.

After the first anniversary of America's withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action dubbed as (JCPOA), and after European parties failed to protect Iran's economic interests from US sanctions, Iran has been gradually step-by-step reducing its commitments to JCPOA every two months.

Referring to paragraphs 26 and 36 of the agreement, Iran has begun to pull back from its JCPOA commitments and has taken four steps so far.

The crisis on Iran nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action( JCPOA) was triggered when US President Donald Trump unilaterally withdrew the US from the agreement last year and imposed crippling sanctions on Iran.

The other signatories (France, Germany and the UK) opposed the US president’s action in the word but they didn't remain committed to the deal, in reality. 205/211
