Hojjatoleslam Mohammad Hassan Abu Torabi Fard

Tehran's Interim Friday Prayers leader said the Islamic establishment can't be indifferent to the Islamic Ummah because one of the characteristics of an Islamic establishment is benevolence.

Iran PressIran news: Elsewhere in his remarks, Hojjatoleslam Mohammad Hassan Abu Torabi Fard thanked the Iraqi government and people for their wonderful management and hospitality towards Arbaeen mourners.

He said: "I hope the Arbaeen movement, which is a religious, divine, and political movement at the same time, leads to the unity of the Islamic Ummah, and the realization of the aims of Imam Hussein's uprising throughout the world."

Turning to the education sector, Abu Torabi Fard said: "University graduates must be involved in the management of the country, and we must hear the voice of academics and university students and allow student organizations to express their points-of-view regarding the problems of the country in meetings with the heads of the three branches of the government. This is a lesson that we have learned from the beginning of the Islamic revolution."

Turning to Iran's military might, Tehran's Interim Friday Prayers leader said what has stopped America from taking military action against Iran is the defensive power of the Islamic Republic, our power of deterrence, and the unity of the Iranian people.

Abu Torabi Fard added: "America, the Zionist regime and their cohorts only understand one language, and that is the language of force -- the language of military might. Thus those countries who wish to safeguard and protect their interests against the excessive demands of the US and its allies must equip themselves with advanced science and technology, with military power, with political and economic muscle."

Turning to the economy, Abu Torabi Fard said: "Next year budget bill is currently being prepared, and with the emphasis of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution on cutting out the dependency on oil revenues, the planning and budget organization is serious about making this happen. Next year's budget is not balanced and the budget deficit must be made transparent."
