Yemenis are in poor condition

The head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) announced that 80 percent of Yemenis are in urgent need of humanitarian aids.

Iran Press/ Middle East: The head of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Peter Maurer stated on Wednesday night that 18 million Yemenis are deprived of healthy water.

Maurer also said that 20 million Yemenis suffer from the shortage of healthcare, Iran Press reported.

Furthermore, Deputy UN Secretary-General in Humanitarian Affairs Mark Lowcock recently announced that Yemen faces the worst humanitarian catastrophe in history.

Saudi Arabia started the war on Yemen in March 2015 in a bid to reinstall a former regime and eliminate the Ansarullah movement.

The Saudi-led aggression has so far killed more than 91,000 Yemenis, based on a research done by the US-based Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED), a nonprofit conflict-research organization.
