Iran welcomed the Yemen's proposal to halt missile and UAV attakcs on Saudi Arabia in return for a full end to the Saudi attacks on Yemen, praising it as a mean of establishing stability and security in the region.

Iran Press/ Iran News: Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi on Sunday evening said, "Unfortunately, despite the international acceptance of the plan, Riyadh still pursues war and continues to bomb various areas of Yemen."

"We encourage the Saudi Arabia to accept the offer. We also support any move to establish ceasefire and end the cruel war against the Yemeni nation. We believe this proposal is an important step to create peace and stability in the region," said Mousavi. 

Yemen’s National Salvation government has offered to stop drone and missile attacks into Saudi Arabia in return for a full end to the Saudi bombardment.

On Friday, President of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat said the Ansarullah forces would end all attacks on Saudi Arabia provided that the kingdom and its allies end their attacks on Yemen.

He also hoped that the gesture would be answered by a stronger gesture from the Saudis.
