Yemen’s National Salvation Government appointed special and plenipotentiary ambassador to Iran.

Iran Press/Middle East: In a statement, Mohammad Abdul-Salam, spokesperson of the Ansarullah Movement congratulated appointment of Ibrahim Mohammad Mohammad al-Deilami to lead the Yemeni diplomatic mission in Iran on Saturday saying: "The appointment of a plenipotentiary ambassador to Iran is aimed at enhancing organizational performance within the framework of the Yemeni Supreme Political Council and the Yemeni National Salvation Government.

Al-Dulaimi was present at a recent meeting of the Yemeni delegation with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Iran Press reported.

Also, Ansarullah Movement Leader, Abdulmalek al-Houthi praised Iran’s clear and frank support for Yemen, stressing that his country is keen on re-establishing diplomatic ties with Iran. 

“It will benefit the Yemeni nation to implement its previous accords with Iran. There were 70 agreements before the revolution,” he added. 

The Houthi leader reiterated that Sana’a will improve ties with Iran as they are based on common grounds, especially the Palestinian issue, at the top noting that the Islamic Republic of Iran is 'an idol' in respectful engagement with Yemen and in helping Palestine and the resistance movement.

Referring to the rational policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in engaging with regional countries such as Yemen, Iraq, and Syria, he said: "Iran never dictates its policies in interaction with other countries."
