The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry condemned the recent crime in Yemen’s Sa'ada by the Saudi-led coalition, saying it tries to compensate its failures by killing women and children.

Iran Press/Iran news: The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Seyyed Abbas Mousavi on Tuesday condemned the recent barbaric attack at a market in Yemen's northern province of Sa'ada by the Saudi-led coalition which killed and injured 39 people, expressing sympathy to the families of the victims.

The US-Saudi aggression against Yemen and its mercenaries launched another raid and bombed a number of provinces on Monday, killing 14 civilians including 4 children and injuring 25 others in Yemen's northern province of Sa'ada, Iran Press reported.

“After four years of aggression against Yemen, the Saudi-led coalition has had no results but destruction, so it tries to compensate its failures in the politics and the battlefield by killing women and children,” said Mousavi.

He also criticized the silence and inaction by the international community against the war crimes of the aggressors in Yemen, stressing, “the US and some of the European countries are parts of such crimes with selling arms to the aggressors and they should be held accountable for their actions.”

According to a recent report released by the United Nations, over 7,500 children have been killed or wounded in Yemen since 2013, as a result of airstrikes, shelling, fighting, suicide attacks, mines, and other unexploded ordnance.
