Kermanshah (IP)- This week is the week of handicrafts in Iran and a number of artists in Kermanshah province have put their works and handicrafts on public display.

Iran Press/Iran news: June 10th is the 'International Day of Crafts' so in Persian calendar it has been named as handicrafts week.

During the handicrafts week, Iranian's artists put their work on public display in exhibitions in various cities throughout Iran.

According to an Iran Press report, an exhibition is being held in Kermanshah province of Iran, with local artists displaying their work publicly.

Traditional music was also played on the margins of the exhibition

Local Iranian artist, Muhammad Samarri also took part in the exhibition.

He was awarded by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) for his artistic wood works.

One of his wonderful artworks is displayed at the Holy shrine of Zaynab bint Ali (may the peace and blessing of The Almighty be upon her) in Damascus Syria.

It is a unique work of art in the Islamic world. 203/211/201
