Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif

Iranian foreign minister left India and headed to Japan at the official invitation of the country's foreign minister.

Iran Press/Asia: Mohammad Javad Zarif is slated to meet Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Thursday to discuss bilateral ties as well as regional and international issues, Mehr News Agency reported.

Earlier, the Iranian minister had visited Russia, Turkmenistan, and India in a bid to expand the level of cooperation in different fields of mutual interest.   101/211/207
