Iranian President has instructed full readiness for dealing with new round of rainfalls.

Iran Press/Iran news: In the phone calls that were made on Monday with governor-generals of South Khorasan, Sistan and Baluchestan, Hormozgan, Kerman, Khorasan Razavi, Lorestan and Khuzestan provinces, Hassan Rouhani required them to boost cooperation and synergy.

The governor-generals reported on the situation and the status of their regions and the measures taken for managing the new round of rainfalls, Iran Press reported.

The President also went on to appreciate all people and relief workers who have worked hard during the recent floods.

Since March 19, large parts of Iran have been inundated with flash floods. So far, about 76 people have lost their lives and hundreds of thousands been displaced.

Record spring rainfall that has battered Iran in the past weeks caused serious flooding in many areas, mainly the provinces of Golestan, Lorestan, Khuzestan, Fars, and Ilam, forcing thousands to leave their homes.105/205
