Iran Press/ West Asia: After discovering one of the worst massacres of Gazans by Israelis, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry urges an International investigation into a mass grave in northern Gaza.
Discovered mass graves show that 30 people were killed by Israeli troops in an execution-style after blindfolded bodies with hands bound were discovered.
“According to testimonies of Palestinian citizens, more than 30 decomposing bodies of Palestinian martyrs were discovered buried in the northern Gaza Strip,” the Palestinian Foreign Ministry said in a statement. “They were killed while blindfolded and with their hands tied, as clear evidence that they were executed… in the most horrific forms.”
A witness told Al Jazeera “As we were cleaning, we came across a pile of rubble inside the schoolyard. We were shocked to find out that the dozens of dead bodies were buried under this pile”.
“The moment we opened the black plastic bags, we found the bodies, already decomposed. They were blindfolded, legs and hands tied. The plastic cuffs were used on their hands and legs and cloths straps around their eyes and heads.”
The Hamas government media office has called on human rights organizations “to document this horrific crime”.
It said on Telegram that Israel was continuing to “exterminate” the Palestinian people without regard to the decisions of the International Court of Justice, “which demanded that they stop the crime of genocide and ethnic cleansing”.
On Wednesday morning, Gaza’s Health Ministry said 150 Palestinians were killed and 313 were wounded in the past 24 hours.
Since the war began on October 7, Israeli forces have killed 26,900 Palestinians in Gaza and wounded 65,949, according to the latest figures from the enclave’s Ministry of Health.
