Iran Press/ Iran News: The meeting of the Technical Committee on Tourism Cooperation between Iran and China was held in Saad Abad Palace with the presence of Ali Asghar Shalbafian, Deputy Minister of Tourism of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Iran, and Luying Chuang, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of China.
The first minutes of the meeting of the Technical Committee on Tourism Cooperation between Iran and China were also signed by the Deputy Minister of Tourism of Iran and the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of China.The Deputy Minister of Tourism of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts said: The demand of Chinese people to travel to Iran has increased, so that in the first 7 months of the current year in the Persian calendar (from March 20 to October 22, 2023), 50 thousand Chinese tourists traveled Iran.
Shalbafian added: Certainly, putting the name of Iran as a top tourist destination by the Chinese government in the country's tourism programs has increased these demands.The Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of China also said that Iran and China, as two ancient civilizations, have rich capacities and can cooperate in all fields.
