Iran Press/ Asia: Referring to the end of Iran's arms embargo on October 18, Wang Yi at a virtual Security Council meeting on the situation in the Persian Gulf said that a majority of Security Council members called for the maintenance and implementation of the UN Security Council Resolution 2231.
In accordance with UN Security Council Resolution 2231 and the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action(JCPOA), since October 18, arms embargoes as well as restrictions on related financial measures, services against the Islamic Republic of Iran, along with all bans on entry or transit through the territory of UN member states that had previously been imposed on some Iranian citizens and military officials, automatically terminated.
