Iran Press/Asia: Zhao Lijian made the remarks in response to the US sanction against a Chinese company due to its cooperation with Iran’s Mahan Air company.
In a press conference on Wednesday, Zhao called on the US to lift its illegal sanctions on the Chinese companies.
The spokesman added that the continuation of the US unilateral sanctions in order to put maximum pressure on other countries are in contrast with the efforts of the international community to confront the coronavirus.
The US Office of Foreign Assets Control added the Chinese company ‘Shanghai Saint Logistics’ to its so-called ‘blacklist’ on Tuesday under the pretext that the company works on behalf of the Iranian Mahan Air company.
