Iran Press/ Asia: On Thursday, November 21, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israeli Minister of War Yoav Gallant on charges of committing war crimes, crimes against humanity, and using the starvation of the people of Gaza as a weapon.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian criticized Washington's double standards on the management of the Israeli war against Palestine at the United Nations on Friday, saying: "The US has undermined the efforts of the Security Council and the international community by using its veto power to block the draft resolution on a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip."
The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman also stressed Washington's ambivalent reaction to the International Criminal Court's arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu and Gallant: "China has always opposed countries manipulating international law to secure their interests or applying double standards."
US President Joe Biden, in line with Washington's all-out support for the crimes of the Israeli regime, called the International Criminal Court's arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant cruel.
