Iran Press/ Asia: In a statement made on Thursday, spokesperson Lin Jian expressed deep concern over the Israeli regime's actions, which involved detonating communication systems that resulted in the deaths of at least 37 Lebanese citizens and injuries to over 4,000 others during operations carried out on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Lin reiterated China's opposition to any actions that threaten Lebanon's security and sovereignty, highlighting the risk of escalating regional tensions. He called on all involved parties to work towards maintaining peace and stability in the Middle East.
This is while, Hezbollah has responded to the Israeli regime's aggression, emphasizing that such crimes will only bolster the determination of resistance forces. The group vowed that the occupying regime would face severe consequences for its actions, signaling a potential escalation in hostilities in the region.
