Iran Press/ America: "Eleven Iranian military vessels came close to 6 US warships on Wednesday," CENTCOM claimed in a statement.
CENTCOM used a fake name for the Persian Gulf, which is considered contrary to the international law, and described the scene of the event as "north of the Arabian Gulf".
The organization has accused Iranian vessels of carrying out dangerous movements, despite the fact that the body itself has repeatedly taken actions in recent months which are considered as the true violation of international laws and regulations.
On June 20, 2019, a US Global Hawk spy drone was shot down by the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps after violating Iran's airspace in the area opposite the Mubarak Mountain in Hormozgan Province, southern Iran.
Recently, an F-18 fighter jet of the US Navy was approaching the airspace of Iran, which was forced to change its route by warning of the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Defense Force.
Iran has repeatedly stated that it is its right to monitor foreign vessels and warplanes in the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf and that they will be dealt with in accordance with international law if they encroach on Iran's waters and air space.
