London (IP) - Supporters of Palestine gathered in front of Barclays Bank branches in England to condemn the bank's support for the Zionist regime and weapons companies for the Israeli regime. They called for a boycott of the bank and other supporters of Israel.

Iran Press/Europe: According to Iran Press News Agency from London, Palestinian rights supporters and civil activists continued to protest Barclays Bank's participation in war crimes against Palestinians by rallying in front of the bank's branches, calling their support for the Israeli regime, despite the widespread genocide of Palestinians, shameful and calling the bank's officials complicit in Israel's crimes.

The protesters expressed their anger and protest by holding Palestinian flags and chanting slogans against Barclays Bank, as well as by using bloody dolls in the form of children who were victims of Israeli attacks in Gaza, and by projecting images of Israeli crimes on some Barclays Bank buildings in London and some other cities in England.

In the past, some branches of the British bank Barclays were sprayed with red paint as a protest against Barclays Bank’s participation in the shedding of the blood of Palestinian women, men, and children by the Israeli regime’s soldiers.

Palestinian genocide opponents say that Barclays Bank finances part of the bombs and bullets that the Israeli regime drops on the people of Gaza, killing women and children. Barclays also plays a prominent role in financing weapons companies for Israel.

Palestinian rights supporters also called on people to close their accounts in this pro-Israel bank because any interaction with this bank is considered to be aiding the Palestinian genocide.

Pictures of martyred children in Gaza were also placed in front of some branches of this bank, and people and companies were asked to cut off their economic interactions with this bank, which provides vital services to Israel.

Police have arrested several Palestinian rights supporters.

Palestinian rights supporters also condemned the actions of the British government and other companies supporting the Israeli regime, such as McDonald's, Coca-Cola, Starbucks, Marks & Spencer, and Zara, in continuing to support the Zionist regime, and called on the public to take revenge on these companies by boycotting them and not allowing their money to be spent on continuing the genocide of the Palestinians.

Palestinian supporters previously announced that Barclays Bank gives money to at least nine Israeli weapons companies and holds £1.3 billion in shares of war-mongering companies whose weapons are used against the people of Gaza.
