Yoon stated that he had to take this action to uphold a free and constitutional order, citing the opposition parties' manipulation of the parliamentary process as a means to create the crisis.

The spokesman of the British Prime Minister's Office stated on Tuesday night that the situation in South Korea is changing rapidly, and the British government is closely monitoring it.
