Tehran (IP) - The body of Lieutenant-General Qassem Soleimani and his martyred companions, who were assassinated in a US airstrike last Friday, arrived in the city of Kerman in southern Iran for burial at his hometown.

Iran Press/ Iran News: Lieutenant General Soleimani, who had traveled to Iraq at the official invitation of the Iraqi government, was martyred in a terrorist attack -- a US drone strike, in the early hours of Friday morning 3 January 2020.
