Iran Press/ Iran News: Following the humiliating agreement between UAE and the usurping Zionist regime to normalize and expand relations, Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati on Monday issued a statement, condemning this shameful act, and warned of its consequences.
According to the statement, "These days, the sad news of the UAE-Israeli regime normalization of ties has offended the Muslims of the world, especially the oppressed people of Palestine. Certainly, this strategic mistake and blatant betrayal of the Emirati rulers will not be erased from the history and minds of the Muslims and the free people of the world; moreover, the stigma of this humiliating compromise will forever remain on the foreheads of the cowardly and traitorous rulers of the UAE."
The statement added: "Undoubtedly, this shameful agreement is an example of appeasement against the oppressors and is considered as recognition and confirmation of the crimes of the infamous Israeli regime against the stability of the region and betrayal of Al-Aqsa Mosque and cause of al-Quds."
Chairman of the Assembly of Experts, while condemning this humiliating act, stressed the need for vigilance of the governments and nations of the region and reminded the UAE: "According to the inviolable promise of God, the right God-oriented group will achieve the final victory and destruction is with the false Satan- following group, and this oppression will sooner or later overtake you.
