La Paz (IP)- Iran's deputy foreign minister for political affairs, during his regional trip to Latin America, met and consulted with the Bolivian foreign minister and the vice president.

Iran PressAmerica: Ali Bagheri Kani, Iran's deputy foreign minister for political affairs, met with the foreign minister and the vice president of Bolivia in separate meetings during his regional trip to the country.

Bagheri Kani in a meeting with Rogelio Mayta, the foreign minister of Bolivia, while emphasizing the development of political relations and international cooperation between the two countries, called for Bolivia's participation in creating a new world order based on multilateralism.

The foreign minister of Bolivia also welcomed the proposal of the Iranian side in the meeting and said that the relations between the two countries are good and brotherly and both countries support each other's positions regarding human rights issues and the fight against imperialism.

Bagheri Kani, in the meeting with the vice president of Bolivia, while explaining the good relations between the two countries, pointed out the capacities of the parties to develop relations, especially in the economic field.

He also called for more cooperation between the two countries in international forums, as well as support for the new world order based on multilateralism.

In the meeting, the vice president of Bolivia also mentioned the economic, scientific, and industrial capacities of the Islamic Republic of Iran and said that the relationship with the country is considered an advantage for Bolivia and we want to develop relations with Iran, especially in the economic sector.
