Tehran(IP): Deputy foreign minister for political affairs, said that the crimes committed by the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip are genocide and crimes against humanity.

In this regard and according to the Wednesday evening "Ali Bagheri Kani Deputy foreign minister for political affairs, in the 7th joint meeting of political, economic and cultural consultation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Philippines, referring to the crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza, said that this regime's claim that it has the right to defend itself is contrary to the principles of human rights. And international relations and stated:

" The action of the Zionist regime in Gaza is nothing but genocide and a crime against humanity."

Joint meeting between Iran and the Philippines

Bagheri Kani considered the presence of foreigners in the West and East Asia regions to spread insecurity and solving regional issues through the interaction of regional countries as the only sustainable solution for peace and stability and said:

" In the current changing world, Iran and the Philippines are facing common threats. and the current international situation requires that opportunities for interaction and cooperation be used."

The Iranian Deputy foreign minister for political affairs, while referring to the 60th anniversary of the establishment of relations between the two countries, said that the history of relations between Iran and the Philippines is full of positive bilateral interactions and international cooperation, and added that the two countries have a lot in common in political, cultural and scientific fields, which In turn, it can become a platform for extensive bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

Theresa Lazaro, Philippines' Undersecretary for Bilateral Relations and Asian Affairs of the Department of Foreign Affairs, while expressing her satisfaction with the holding of the new round of Iran-Philippine political consultations, Iran hoped that the results of this meeting will become a road map for the expansion of relations between the two countries at the bilateral, regional and international levels.

The Philippines' Undersecretary for Bilateral Relations and Asian Affairs of the Department of Foreign Affairs also expressed his hope that the crimes of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip will be stopped as soon as possible.
