Iraqi PM: Baghdad not to be part of anti-Iran sanctions

Iraqi Prime Minister said on Thursday that Baghdad will never be part of the US anti-Iran sanctions.

Iran Press/Middle East: In a meeting with the ambassadors of Germany, Britain, and France, Adel Abdul Mahdi reiterated that Baghdad will never be part of the US sanctions against the Iranian nation.

'Iraq favors good relations with all its neighbors and Arab, region and international states, including the US and Iran,' Iraqi Prime Minister said, according to IRNA.

Iraq’s ties contribute to regional stability and security, he went on to say.

Adel Abdul Mahdi also called for efforts to strengthen regional security and curb the crises faced by the region and safeguard the nations from insecurity and instability.

The European ambassadors also stressed their common views with Iraq over regional crises and called for curbing them. 105/201/213
