Ayatollah Arafi has traveled to the Russian Federation at the invitation of Mufti Sheikh Ravil Ainuddin, the head of the religious administration of Russian Muslims, to participate in the international conference "Spiritual Silk Road".
During his stay in Moscow, he will meet with some political, religious, and cultural officials of Russia.
"Spiritual Silk Road" is a gathering of religious and political leaders from different countries to coordinate unified stances in addressing today's global threats and safeguarding the future preservation of nations' cultural and religious heritage.
The said conference is going to be held in Kazan this week with the presence of officials from different countries.
