Coronavirus is a human battle and the virus does not respect nationalities, the Chinese president said.

Iran Press/Asia: Delivering a speech in the 73rd World Health Assembly virtual conference, Xi Jinping underscored that China released information on COVID-19 in the shortest time, noting that China has done everything to support countries in need.

He went on to say, "To control COVID-19, we need to move as fast as possible in the prevention and treating, and to achieve this goal we need to exchange experience."

China’s president added that it is WHO‘s responsibility to help developing countries and send more aid to African countries.

The high ranking official added that we need international cooperation for defeating such viruses and all epidemics.

"China will work with the UN, and is ready to pair up its hospitals with African hospitals to exchange information," the president highlighted.

COVID-19 vaccines, when available, will be released to developing countries, and China is ready to work with international communities to protect people’s lives in all countries, he stated.

60 lecturers from 60 countries are delivering a speech in this virtual conference namely Secretary-General of the United Nations António Guterres, the Chancellor of Germany  Angela Merkel, and representatives of South Korea and South Africa.
