Iran Press/ Iran News: Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said on Sunday that Iran has manufactured its own defense requirements and never ask for others' help in the region.
Rear Admiral Sayyari referred to the the "Surge in Production" as the motto of the year nominated by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and said: Iran's Armed Forces always were at the forefront of implementing these mottos and in the year of 1998 (starting on March 21, 2019), the year of the "Boom in Production", we witnessed significant activities of the Armed Forces in this regard.
The Deputy Head of Coordination of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army added: "Since the victory of the Revolution, we do not receive any help from others because we have produced our defense needs."
Sayari noted: "Last year, we were at the forefront of production and we have really made good progress in the manufacturing industry, especially the Ministry of Defense and in the research centers of the army and other armed forces."
He added: "This year, the armed forces will definitely be at the forefront of production and progress."
"In the new year we will certainly be able to unveil new achievements in the armed forces, valuable steps will be taken, and this policy will be followed," he concluded.
Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, in a message issued on the occasion of New Year of Iranians, also known as Nowruz, stressed the need for a further surge in the national production with the participation of all organizations and sectors.
