New York (IP) - Iran's foreign minister said in a message that the attacks of the Zionist regime on the Dahiya area in Beirut are a crime against humanity and a war crime and show that this regime is the biggest threat to regional and international peace and security.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran stated: The martyrdom of more than 43 thousand people and the injury of more than 93 thousand people, along with the displacement of more than two million people and the destruction of hundreds of thousands of residential, infrastructure, medical and educational places in the Gaza Strip in less than a year, indicate crimes against humanity include genocide, ethnic cleansing, and war crimes committed in silence and inaction by the international community and countries claiming human rights.

Araghchi added: The inability or unwillingness of the international community and the supporters of the Zionist regime to stop the crimes of this regime in the Gaza Strip caused (Israel) to be more barzen than before, this time by turning the communication technologies into weapons and killing the innocent people of Lebanon and target through airstrikes and take the lives of many innocent people.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran said: Yesterday's attacks by the Zionist regime on the Dahiya area in Beirut are a crime against humanity and a war crime, and it shows that this regime is the biggest threat to regional and international peace and security.

Araghchi added: We ask the UN Security Council to end its indifference and lack of action by taking serious measures to stop the killing machine of the Zionist regime. We also request the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to hold an extraordinary meeting of the heads of the organization as soon as possible to deal with this situation.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran stated: While expressing my sympathy with the nation and government of Lebanon, I express my condolences to the families of the martyrs of this great crime. The government of the Islamic Republic of Iran will be with the Lebanese nation and the axis of resistance. 204
