Iran Press/Iran news: Araghchi told reporters this morning (Sunday) on the sidelines of a conference commemorating Navy Day held on Kish Island: "We support the Syrian government, nation, and army in every way. This support has always existed and will exist."
He added: "I am going to Damascus today and will meet with the president and my counterpart and I am carrying the message of the Islamic Republic of Iran that we firmly support the Syrian government and army in confronting terrorist groups and the Zionist regime. We do not make any difference between them."
The Iranian Foreign Minister stated: "The same movement that the US and the Zionist regime started in recent months will be completed and continued by the Takfiri terrorist groups and their supporters. This struggle is ongoing, and the resistance and the Syrian army will confront these terrorist groups, and God willing, it will happen this time as well, like the last time when they left their positions after being defeated."204
