Tehran (IP) – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has praised the late General Qassem Soleimani as a symbol of resistance, emphasizing his role in transforming the concept of the "School of Resistance" into a robust "Axis of Resistance" that endures beyond his death.

Speaking at a ceremony commemorating the martyrdom of Lieutenant General Soleimani, Araghchi stated, "General Soleimani, as described by the Leader, is the embodiment of the School of Resistance. He turned this school into an axis—a movement that cannot be eradicated."

Araghchi stressed the enduring nature of the resistance ideology, an "ideal and a goal" immune to destruction by violence or dependent on any single individual. "This sacred ideal cannot be erased with bullets," he said.

Blood as the Weapon of Resistance

Highlighting the resilience of the resistance movement, Araghchi remarked, "The main weapon of the School of Resistance is the blood of martyrs. Whenever the banner of a commander falls, another commander picks it up. Resistance relies on the people's social base."

He also warned the enemies not to misinterpret any actions of the Axis of Resistance as setbacks. "The enemy should not think that harming the Axis of Resistance is their victory. On the contrary, it marks the beginning of their defeat."

In a strong endorsement of perseverance, Araghchi declared, "I have no doubt that the blood of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah will make Hezbollah stronger. Resistance requires patience, and this forward-moving momentum will continue."
