Syrian Top Diplomat: Israel Has Failed

Syrian Foreign Minister Bassam Sabbagh stated during the meeting: "The reality is that the escalation of Israeli tensions in the region aligns with the American and Zionist agenda, which aims to reshape our region. Israel acts as an instrument for this objective. While we have succeeded in expelling many terrorist groups, some remain based in northern Syria, and we continue to combat them."

The Syrian Foreign Minister made the following statement about the agreements between the two countries: "We have established a joint high commission and a joint economic commission, which will soon hold meetings in Damascus. These two commissions are exploring all possibilities for cooperation between our nations. We are pleased with the progress made so far, but there is still more work to be done."

Sabbagh stated, "We believe that the crimes of the Israeli regime must be halted before we can consider sending humanitarian aid. The Zionist regime must be held accountable; we will oppose any form of occupation, and we support Iran's right to respond to any wrongdoing."
